Vistnes Dubbed ECAC Division II Offensive Player of the Year

- On Thursday, LIU Post women's soccer sophomore forward Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) garnered ECAC Division II Offensive Player of the Year honors for the second-consecutive season. She totaled an East Coast Conference-best 34 points in 2013.

Vistnes also led the league in goals (14), shots (76) and game-winning goals (7), while ranking fifth in assists (6). Amongst NCAA Division II, the Randaberg, Norway product placed in the Top-25 in four statistical categories. She was 15th in goals per game (0.77), 16th in points per game (1.89), 19th in total points, and 21st in total goals.

Seniors Karina Rizzo (Oceanside, N.Y.) and Jeanine Ambrogi (Greenlawn, N.Y.) joined Vistnes as ECAC All-Star selections. On defense, Rizzo anchored a unit that limited the opposition to an average of 0.72 goals per game, which ranked third-best in the ECC.

Meanwhile, Ambrogi collected four goals (two game-winners) and two assists on the year for a 10-point output. In addition, she took the seventh-most shots in the league with 52.
