Softball Enters This Week's NFCA Division II Poll At No. 15
LOUISVILLE, KY (April 24, 2013) – The LIU Post softball team entered this week's NFCA coaches poll as the No. 15 team.
The Pioneers have won 22 of their last 24 contests and enter the poll ranked for the first time this season.
Indianapolis remains the overall leader after receiving 16 first-place votes this week. Also ranked is regional foe Adelphi University who the Pioneers most recently swept in a doubleheader at the Softball Complex by scores of 5-1 and 6-4.
LIU Post (38-11, 21-3 ECC) resumes action on Wednesday, April 24 when it takes on Caldwell College at 3 p.m. at the Softball Complex.
