In the fourth, LIU Post added an insurance run when pinch hitter
Nicole Capella (Shirley, N.Y.) came up with two on and one out and drilled a blast off the top of the left field fence for a double knocking in Gonzalez.
The Spartans managed to push a run across in the top of the fifth on a Samantha McDonald RBI single, but Weber kept STAC from scoring any more to earn her 10th win of the season tossing five innings of one-run ball.
