LIU Post led all ECC institutions for the second consecutive year, placing 158 student-athletes on the Honor Roll, which accounts for over 38% of their student-athlete population. Molloy was next with 119 student-athletes and also led the way with 51.7% of their student-athlete population being honored. Bridgeport (109), Dowling (112), and Roberts Wesleyan (114) also surpassed the 100 mark. Roberts Wesleyan was the runner-up by percentage, with 51.0%.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference's mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
