Scott Repeats as ECC Rookie of the Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 16, 2013) - For the second-straight week, red-shirt freshman Mike Scott (Fultonville, N.Y.) ran his way to East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week admirations, the league announced Monday.
He facilitated the Pioneers' first-place showing in the Division II, III, and Junior College race at the LIU Post Invitational on Sept. 14.
Scott was once again the lead runner for the green and gold, as he finished third in the 8,000-meter race with a personal-best time of 25:40.90.
LIU Post is back in action Saturday, Sept. 28, when it heads to Rochester, N.Y. for the Harry F. Anderson Invitational. The meet is slated for an 11 a.m. start.
