NEW ORLEANS, La. (Sept. 18. 2013) - On Tuesday, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its weekly Division II regional team index, and both Pioneers' men's and women's cross country squads made the cut.

The LIU Post men's team ranked seventh, while the women rounded off the list, coming in at No. 10.

After an absence in the preseason USTFCCCA East Region Top-10 list, the men's and women's clubs made their case with strong showings in their first two meets of the season. The Pioneers placed second in the St. John's-Hofstra Fall Festival and first at the LIU Post Invitational.

Head Coach Rob Morris and the Pioneers are back in action Saturday, Sept. 28, when they head to Rochester, N.Y. for the Harry F. Anderson Invitational. The meet is set for an 11 a.m. start.
