The Bears would come out shooting in the second half and go up by as many as 26 after Venuto hit two free throws to make it 78-52 with 5:26 remaining.
The Pioneers did outscore the Bears in the paint, 38-30, but NYIT took advantage of 21 LIU Post miscues, resulting in a 25-13 points off turnovers edge for the hosts.
