BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 31, 2014) - The 2014 Capital One Academic All-District® men's and women's soccer teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their efforts both on and off the field.
 
LIU Post men's soccer senior Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway) and women's soccer junior Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) represented their respective teams for the Pioneers. Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All-America teams programs since 2011.
 
Austboe currently leads the East Coast Conference with 13 goals. His 28 total points are also tops in the league. In the classroom, the Stavanger, Norway native boasts a 3.92 cumulative grade-point average in Business Administration. This is the third-straight year Austboe has landed on the Capital One Academic All-District ledger.
 
On the women's side, Vistnes is tied for sixth in the nation and leads the ECC with 15 goals. In addition, the two-time defending ECC Offensive Player of the Year is tied for fourth in the country with 37 points, a total that also spearheads the conference. Off the field, Vistnes has a 3.48 cumulative grade-point average as a Business major.
 
Both the men and women are in back in action on Friday (Oct. 31), when they take on ECC rival Roberts Wesleyan in Rochester. The women kickoff at 5 p.m., while the men follow at 7:30 p.m.
