Men's Soccer at Wilmington - 3:30 p.m.
When the LIU Post men's soccer team defeated East Coast Conference foe Queens, 2-1, last Sunday (Oct. 5), it did so by using a dynamic attack and improved its record to 6-3-1 and 3-1-1 in ECC play. The Pioneers hope to carry that momentum into Wednesday's non-conference game at Wilmington.

The green and gold got scoring over the weekend from senior forward Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway) and graduate forward Dale McDonald (Roosevelt, N.Y.). LIU Post outshot Queens 9-3 and held a 2-1 corner kick advantage in the win.

On the other hand, the Wildcats are coming off a 3-1 loss against Post University. That Friday (Oct.1) afternoon, the Eagles (4-5, 3-4 CACC) managed to hold Wilmington (6-4, 3-3 CACC) off the scoreboard in the second half after the Wildcats went into the break with a 1-0 lead, off a goal by junior Lance Berry.

Tiago Martins put in two goals in the 60th and 76th minutes, while Raphael Moura found the back of the net in the 80th to propel the Eagles to a 3-1 victory.
