Field Hockey Stands Pat at No. 5 in Latest NFHCA Poll
CHANDLER, Ariz. (Nov. 4, 2014) - The LIU Post women's field hockey team remains slotted fifth in the latest 2014 Penn Monto/ NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The Pioneers come off a two-win week over the then-No. 7 Adelphi Panthers and No. 10 St. Michael's to secure two Northeast-10 conference victories. Against Adelphi, the green and gold offense combined for five goals, while the back line allowed the Panthers only five total shots with no tallies. At St. Michael's, LIU Post stationed another shutout, yeilding no Purple Knight shots and a one-goal offensive effort.

Raenee Savin and the Pioneers are back in action Tuesday (Nov. 4) where they are set to face NE-10 opponent Southern New Hampshire in Brookville, N.Y. at 2:30.
