Women's Soccer vs. Bridgeport - 2 p.m.
The top-seeded LIU Post women's soccer team are set to face fourth-seeded Bridgeport in a semifnal match for the East Coast Conference Championship. The game is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Park.

The Pioneers are coming strong off a 5-0 win over Daemen College, a win that saw the green and gold win the 2014 East Coast Conference regular-season crown. After the Pioneers tied with Dowling on Oct. 15, the team has gone unbeaten in their last 5 matches, outscoring their opponents 11-1 in the process.

LIU Post solidified their dominance this season after Sunday's match with Daemen. The Pioneers opened up the scoring early after senior back Lauren Bellone (West Islip, N.Y.) scored off a nice rebound in the fifth mintute of play. Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) was a difference maker in the match. She hit the back of the net twice and provided an assist in the second half. She now leads the ECC with 18 goals on the season.

LIU Post sophomore keeper Hreffie Agnarsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) made two saves for her eighth shutout on the season.

Fourth-seeded Bridgeport's (12-3-2, 5-3-1 ECC) last result was a 3-0 win at Molloy College last Saturday. The win helped the Purple Knights grab the final spot in today's East Coast Conference Championship Tournament.
