Start of ECC Softball Championship Postponed
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (May 1, 2014) - Originally scheduled to get underway on Thursday at the LIU Post Softball Complex, the ECC Softball Championship has been rescheduled to begin Friday afternoon due to the heavy rain Wednesday.
Game times for the first and second day of the tournament will be the same as scheduled, starting with the top-seeded Pioneers taking on fourth-seeded Dowling Friday at 1 p.m. Queens versus Molloy will follow that match-up at 3:30 p.m.
However, the championship round of the tournament on Sunday has now been shifted to a 10 a.m. start.
