Softball Announces 2014 Hitting and Pitching Clinic Dates

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 15, 2014) - The LIU Post softball team will be hosting hitting and pitching clinics in the upcoming months for all age groups.

The hitting clinic will be run under the direction of Head Coach Jamie Apicella and assistant coach Carla Campagna, along with the rest of the Pioneers. The clinic is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 2 and will be split into two sessions. The first session, for softball players ages 7-to-12, will begin at 11 a.m. The second session will start at 12:30 p.m. for hitters in the 13-to-18 age group.

Current pitching consultant Megan Butterworth will hold a pitching clinic on Saturday, Dec. 13. That clinic will also be split up into two sessions. The early session, for pitchers ages 8-to-13, will start at 10 a.m. Pitchers in the 14-to-18 age group can sign up for the later session, which will begin at 11:30 a.m.
