Rachel Londot (Utica, Ohio) tallied 10 kills apiece Thursday night, as the LIU Post volleyball team topped Mercy College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-19), in East Coast Conference action at the Pratt Recreation Center.
The victory secures the No. 4 seed for the Pioneers in the upcoming ECC Championship. It also improved the green and gold to 21-9 overall and 9-6 against league opposition.
In the first set, LIU Post jumped out to an 11-1 lead and never looked back, en route to a 25-16 win. Amador, senior middle hitter

Analise Austin (Honolulu, Hawaii) each notched two kills in the spurt. Freshman setter
Giulia Genna (Civitella San Paolo, Italy) contributed a service ace.
Holding a slight 11-10 edge in the second set, the Pioneers closed it out on a 14-3 run to cruise to a 25-13 triumph. Austin, Amador and Londot all registered two kills in the effort. Senior libero
Rachel Ringor (Honolulu, Hawaii) added one of her two aces on the evening.
Tied at 18-all in a close-knit third set, LIU Post finished the match strong, using a 7-1 burst to seal a 25-19 win for the sweep. Hansen capped off the run with back-to-back kills, off passes from Genna.
Hansen, who also rejected four blocks (two solo, two assist), and Austin (11 digs) both recorded nine kills in the contest. In addition to her 10 kills, Londot amassed 14 digs for a double-double. Genna posted a double-double (36 assists, 12 digs), as well. Freshman middle/right-side hitter
Elise Strange (Chesapeake, Va.) pitched in four kills and a block. Ringor collected 14 digs.

Shellane Ogoshi and the Pioneers conclude the 2015 regular season Saturday (Nov. 14), when they host Queens College and Southern Connecticut State University at the Pratt Recreation Center at noon and 2 p.m., respectively.
