Cross Country Rounds Out 2015 Season at ECAC/IC4A Championships

BRONX, N.Y. (Nov. 21, 2015) - On Saturday, the LIU Post men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up the 2015 season at the 2015 ECAC/IC4A Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.
In the women's 5k, sophomore
Talya Williams (Schenectady, N.Y.) finished 33rd (19:17.5). Her time ranks third-fastest for a 5k at Van Cortlandt Park in program history.
In her final collegiate cross country meet, senior
Elizabeth Stirling (Wantagh, N.Y.) came in 43rd, after crossing at a 19:24.1 clocking. Her mark tied for the program's fifth-fastest time at the site.
For the men, red-shirt junior
Mike Scott (Fultonville, N.Y.) placed 50th (27:03.6) in the five-mile run to lead the Pioneers.
Sophomore
Ryan Gioe (Huntington Station, N.Y.) and junior
Tyler McGarvey (Babylon, N.Y.) ran to respective clockings of 28:31.3 and 28:47.9.
