WALLINGFORD, Conn. (Nov. 20, 2016) - On Sunday, the LIU Post women's bowling team competed at Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Meet #3, held at Wallingford Bowl in Wallingford.

Freshman Vickie Lewis (Patchogue, N.Y.) led the Pioneers (2-16) with a 473 series.

Fellow freshman Alexis Kosakavich (Plainview, N.Y.) amassed a total pinfall of 446. She broke a score of 100 in each of the three matches she played in.

Freshman Brielle Spillett (Yaphank, N.Y.), who was named the recipient of the Bob Ernest Sportsmanship Award, recorded a 439 series. She rolled a high game of 173 for the green and gold.

Senior Stefania Cuomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.) had a 421 series. Sophomore Nadine Bruno (Rosedale, N.Y.) earned one match point and collected a total pinfall of 275.

Head Coach Edward Raven and his LIU Post squad return to action after the New Year, when they bowl at the Westchester Community College Invitational on Jan. 22 in Farmingdale, N.Y.
