NCAA Soccer East Regional Rankings Update
Brookville, N.Y. – On Wednesday afternoon the NCAA released their first edition of the regional soccer rankings for Division II men's and women's soccer.
On the men's side #6 LIU Post sits atop the East Region as the number one team in the region. The Pioneers have a 11-0-2 overall record, and a 5-0-1 ECC mark, which places them atop of the conference standings with a one-point lead over the University of the District of Columbia.
On the women's side #12 LIU Post is ranked as the fourth team in the East Regional Rankings. The Pioneers hold a 12-1-1 overall record, and are 5-0 inside of conference play. The women sit atop the conference standings and are tied with Mercy in points.
The LIU Post men and women's soccer both take on the St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y. on October 21. The men are schedule to kick-off at 3:00 p.m. just after the women, who are slated for 12:30 p.m.
