Brookville, N.Y. – Three different Pioneers scored as the LIU Post women's soccer team shutout NYIT, 3-0, at Pioneer Soccer Field on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Pioneers improve to 14-1-1 on the year and 7-0 in ECC play as the Bears slide to 8-7 (3-4 ECC).
After a scoreless first half which saw the hosts outshoot the Bears 9-5, the Pioneers opened the scoring in the 60th minute when Alice Shonfeldt converted a successful penalty attempt.
Two minutes later
Kristen Breihof doubled the Pioneers lead when she slotted home LIU Post's second penalty attempt of the game.
Gabrielle Clark would cap of the scoring in the 80th minute when she pounced on a rebound shot inside the 18-yard box to walk away with the 3-0 win.

Hillevi Eklow was forced to make just six saves.
