Philadelphia, Pa.| Four Pioneers scored in double figures as the LIU Post women's basketball team defeated Holy Family University 76-61 in a non-conference tilt on Saturday afternoon.

Sasha Patterson tallied her first double-double of the year and shot a sparkling 6-of-8 from the field and went 4-for-5 from the foul line.

Trailing 8-3 at the 4:39 mark, the Pioneers (1-3) rattled off a 7-2 run to tie the game at 10-10, but it was the Tigers that would exit the first with a three-point advantage (15-12).

Tied 24-24 with two minutes to go in the second quarter, the Pioneers rattled of a 12-0 run to take a commanding 12-point lead into the break,

In  the third quarter, Holy Family (0-4) managed to close the gap to 46-38 with 3:00 to go, but LIU Post kept its opposition off the to hold a 55-42 lead.
The Pioneers started the final frame with a 10-3 run and at the 4:46 mark LIU Post took its largest lead of the night (70-48) to walk away with the 76-61 lead.

Mikaiya Moore collected 12 points, six rebounds and an assist in the victory. Kristen Olsen totaled 12 points, a rebound, and a steal. Kylie Garrett added 10 points, three rebounds, and an assists.

Head Coach Deirdre Moore and the Pioneers return to the hardwood on Tuesday (Nov. 21), when they take on Georgian Court University at 6 p.m. Follow the game live here.
