WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Feb. 12, 2017) - On Saturday, the LIU Post women's bowling team came in third at the Suffolk County Community College Invitational at Babylon Lanes in West Babylon.
Sophomore
Emily McLaughlin (Seaford, N.Y.), who garnered All-Tournament honors, won the singles and all-around competitions.
McLaughlin averaged a 219 in singles, en route to rolling a 659 series. She also recorded a 547 series in doubles for a total pinfall of 1,206.
McLaughlin threw strikes at a rate of 44 percent and had a spare ratio of 97 percent, marking in 58 of a possible 60 frames.
Freshman
Brielle Spillett (Yaphank, N.Y.) came in second in singles, after posting scores of 192, 163 and 218 for a 573 series (191 average).
Fellow freshman
Alexis Kosakavich (Plainview, N.Y.) had a high game of 211 on the day, while senior
Stefania Cuomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and freshman
Vickie Lewis (Patchogue, N.Y.) bowled high games of 190 and 170, respectively.

Edward Raven and the Pioneers are back in action from Feb. 25-26, when they compete at the Molloy College Invitational at Sheridan Lanes in Mineola.
