KEENE, N.H. (Mar. 24, 2017) - On Friday, the LIU Post women's bowling team opened up play at the 2017 East Coast Conference Championship, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at Yankee Lanes.
The Pioneers, who stand sixth after Day One, went 3-2 in Baker matches, defeating Lincoln Memorial University (850-779), Roberts Wesleyan College (809-639) and Molloy College (792-758).
Freshman
Vickie Lewis (Patchogue, N.Y.) led the way for the green and gold with a total pinfall of 936, averaging 18.72 pins per frame.
Sophomore
Emily McLaughlin (Seaford, N.Y.) followed with an 873 series (17.46 pins per frame), while freshman
Brielle Spillett (Yaphank, N.Y.) rolled an 821 series.
Senior
Stefania Cuomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.) had a total pinfall of 720 in the five matches. Freshman
Alexis Kosakavich (Plainview, N.Y.) bowled a 710 series.
