Final Results
KEENE, N.H. (Mar. 26, 2017) - On Sunday, the LIU Post women's bowling team wrapped up competition at the 2017 East Coast Conference Championship, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at Yankee Lanes.
The Pioneers, who placed fifth out of nine teams, amassed a total pinfall of 7,023 (163.3 average) at the three-day invitational.
Freshman
Vickie Lewis (Patchogue, N.Y.) led the green and gold with a 181.1 average at the tournament. She posted a team-leading filled frame rate of 79.0 percent and spare rate of 64.4 percent.
Meanwhile, sophomore
Emily McLaughlin (Seaford, N.Y.) threw strikes at a clip of 35.2 percent and converted spares at a 60.8 success rate. She averaged a score of 174.9 for the championship.
Freshman
Brielle Spillett (Yaphank, N.Y.), who boasted a 161.0 average, had 23 strikes and 37 spares, en route to posting a filled frame rate of 69.8 percent.
Senior
Stefania Cuomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.) averaged a 150.8, rolling strikes at a 29.2 percent clip. Freshman
Alexis Kosakavich (Plainview, N.Y.) followed with a 148.7 average.
