Officlal All-Conference Release

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Mar. 4, 2017) - On Friday, LIU Post women's basketball freshman forward Mikaiya Moore (Amityville, N.Y.) was recognized to the 2017 All-East Coast Conference Second Team.

Moore set the tone for scoring amongst all rookies in the league this season. She averaged an impressive 15.6 points per game on a team-best 46.9 percent (157-of-335) shooting from the field.

Moore, a three-time ECC Rookie of the Week selection, also led the Pioneers in four other statistical categories and reached double figures in scoring in 22 of her 25 games.

In addition, Moore exploded for six single-game outbursts of 20 or more points as a freshman, including a season-high 30-point effort at UDC on Jan. 4.
