BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jun. 13, 2017) - On Tuesday, LIU Post Head Women's Basketball Coach
Deirdre Moore rounded out her recruiting class for the 2017-18 season with the addition of
Patrice Harding (Sayreville, N.J.).
Harding was a two-year starter at the point guard position for Sayreville High School and received All-Division honors in the process. She was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Greater Middlesex Conference All-Star Game in 2017.
In her senior year, Harding averaged 10.6 points, 4.4 steals, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game to lead the Bombers to their first-ever GMC Tournament title. Additionally, she buried 45 three-pointers and eclipsed the century mark for made three-point field goals in her career.
"We are so excited to have Patrice join our basketball family. She is a quality student-athlete and a great person," said Moore. "Patrice is a hard-working point guard that will contribute on both sides of the ball. A great defender on the court, she has tremendous court vision and a high basketball IQ. Her passing skills will help get her teammates involved and ability to score will keep the defense honest."
