CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - Helping the LIU Post volleyball team to a 3-1 weekend at the Post U. Invitational, junior outside hitter Rachel Londot (Utica, Ohio) grabbed East Coast Conference Player of the Week praise, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Londot racked up 52 kills over the four Pioneer matches this week, including recording two double-doubles versus Saint Rose (17 kills, 11 digs) and Southern Connecticut (12 kills, 10 digs). The junior hit at a .347 clip, adding her highest kill total (19) at Post U. Londot added four service aces, 29 digs, six blocks (1s, 5a) and averaged 3.71 kills per set.

Londot and the Pioneers return to action in the Pratt Recreation Center on Friday, Sept. 15 when they host non-conference foe Chestnut Hill.
