NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The No. 7 LIU Post women's soccer squad dropped a non-conference match up against Merrimack, 2-0, at Martone-Mejail Field on Saturday night. 

The Warriors notched a tally to the lower left corner at 22:27 to take a 1-0 lead. Merrimack then found the back of the net in the second half off of a save by Pioneer goalkeeper Hillevi Eklow (Väröbacka, Sweden) to put the Warriors up 2-0 for good. 

Eklow collected 7 saves, while the Pioneers combined for five shots on goal. 

No. 7 LIU Post women's soccer returns to the pitch on Monday, Sept. 18 in a contest against Stonehill in Brookville, N.Y. at 4 p.m.
