Women's Golf Places Third at Kutztown Fall Invitational

RESULTS
FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The LIU Post women's golf team continued its fall season with a third-place showing at the Kutztown Fall Invitational hosted at Moselem Springs Golf Club Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
The Pioneers compiled a two-day total of 748 after posting a 376 on day one and a 372 on day two. West Chester University took first in the four-team event, firing a tournament-best 322 for a two-day score of 660.
Seniors
Natalia Schaefer and
Abby Snidemiller led the Green and Gold with top-10 finishes in sixth and seventh place, respectively. After rounds of 87 and 88 on Sunday, the duo carded rounds of 90 on Monday for a two-day score of 177 and 178.
Junior
Claire Pohalskii shaved six strokes off her opening round on Monday, posting a 94 during the final round to finish 15th. Senior
Marissa Bennett rounded out the team scoring for LIU Post with a final score of 199, placing 17th as an individual.
Sophomore
Clare Alaimo posted rounds of 117 and 118 to finish 23rd individually at the event.
The Pioneers round out their fall season at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships at The Captains Golf Club in Watertown, Mass. Oct. 20 through Oct. 22.
