BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post women's tennis earned its second East Coast Conference victory of the season on Tuesday, defeating Daemen College, 5-2.

Christina Jud earned their first doubles win to help the Pioneers secure the opening point of the match. Senior
Katie Kumpas and sophomore
Isabelle Bifulco earned a win by default as LIU Post swept the doubles competition.
Bifulco and Kumpas earned victories at Nos. 5 and 6 singles by default to put LIU Post ahead 3-0 at the beginning of singles play. Daemen earned two victories at Nos. 1 and 2 singles before Hynes took down Courtney Otis 6-0, 6-1 and Jud earned a 6-0, 6-0 straight set victory against Jessica Robins on court four to close out the match.
The Green and Gold return to action on Friday, Oct. 12 when they host Roberts Wesleyan College at 12:00 p.m.
