2018 NCAA Division II Bracket

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The LIU Post women's basketball team saw its season extend with a berth in the 2018 NCAA Division II Tournament as announced during the NCAA selection show March 4.
 
The Pioneers earned the number six seed in the East Region and will battle number three seed University of the Sciences at Stonehill College on Friday, March 9 at 12:00 p.m. The full seeding for the east region is as follows:
 

No. 1	Stonehill College
No. 2	Bentley University
No. 3	University of the Sciences
No. 4	St. Thomas Aquinas College
No. 5	Caldwell University
No. 6	LIU Post
No. 7	Jefferson University
No. 8	Southern Connecticut State University

 
 
LIU Post enters the NCAA Tournament with a 22-7 record on the season, doubling its win total from a year ago. This will be the Pioneers fifth appearance in the 64-team tournament in the last 10 seasons and the first since the 2013-14 season when the Pioneers reached the Sweet 16 before falling to eventual National Champion Bentley University.
