INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After sweeping Caldwell University on Tuesday, the LIU Post softball team improved to No. 1 in the East Region as announced by the NCAA as part of the second regional rankings on Wednesday, April 24.
LIU Post improved to 38-8 overall on the year, remaining in the top-10 nationally with an .826 winning percentage.

The Pioneers lead the East Coast Conference in seven statistical categories and will close out the regular season this week with three series against New York Institute of Technology, Molloy College, and Queens College.
LIU Post begins its closing stretch on Wednesday, April 25 when it takes on NYIT in round two of the Battle of the Boulevard rivalry at 2:00 p.m.
