Post: Played three seasons at the varsity level for Central Islip, helping his team to a 16-16-10 record over that span, which included a playoff appearance in 2006…finished his career with 25 goals and 14 assists, including 11 goals and 8 assists in his senior season…also played keeper for one season, posting ten shutouts…holds the single-season school record for consecutive shutouts (8) and most career hat tricks.
Personal: Is the youngest of four children of Jose and Lydia Velez…majoring in physical education.
