2012-13: Holds the third and fourth best times in school history in the 800-yard freestyle relay … grabbed a sixth place finish at the Metropolitan Championships in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:25.19 … secured two first place finishes versus East Stroudsburg with times of 2:28.00 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 2:16.58 in the 200-yard individual medley.

2011-12: Helped the Pioneers to a first-place finish in the 100 Backstroke at East Stroudsburg with a time of 1:03.21 (Jan. 11).

2010-11: Part of the school record setting 800 Free Relay team (8.01.11), set on Feb. 19 at the Metropolitan Championships … holds top five times in school history with a third place in the 1000 Free (10.59.23), second in the 100 Breast (1.06.69), fourth in the 200 Breast (2.24.29), third in the 200 Individual Medley (2.09.72), and fifth in the 400 Individual Medley (4.47.07).

Prior to LIU Post: Swam for Coach Kim Harrod at Burnsville … All-Conference swimmer four straight years … named Rookie of the Year in 2005 and All-State and MVP in 2009.

Personal: Younger of Ommy and Jill Hew’s two children … interests include rollerblading, shopping, and traveling … lists favorite athlete as Rebecca Soni … admires Katy Perry… is a member of LIU Post’s SAAC Committee … majoring in criminal justice.
