Lou Vanacore enters his second season as an assistant coach with the LIU Post softball program in 2019.

Vanacore graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from St. John’s University.  Vanacore is a professional instructor in the areas of pitching, hitting, fielding, agility and conditioning. He works primarily with the LIU Post pitching staff, while also assisting with hitting.

He has been the lead instructor for many travel teams, such as the Long Island Bandits and Long Island Sudden Impact. His experience and success of all age levels brings professionalism to the staff.

Vanacore currently resides in Hicksville with his wife Cyndi.
