Marie Guarnieri is now in her 18th year at LIU Post and in her eighth year as the administrative assistant in the Department of Athletics, bringing with her a wealth of academic information, having worked in Enrollment Services for 10 years.
In addition to assisting the director of athletics, Marie oversees travel arrangements for all teams and academic progress reports for student-athletes. She also supervises federal work study students.
Marie and her husband, Nick, reside in Farmingdale, N.Y. and are the proud parents of three LIU Post alums, Susan, Sharon and Joseph. In May 2009, Guarnieri received her Master of Science degree from LIU Post in Criminal Justice.
