Samantha Jaffe comes to Long Island University from the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL) where she served as the Head of Marketing Content Strategy.
 
During her time with the WPLL, Jaffe created all marketing and sponsor strategic plans for the season, generated and monitored all content on WPLL Social Media channels that produced followers and interaction, grew average instagram views per week from 100,000 to 400,000 through creative strategy and wrote various types of content pieces for media channels such as US Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse.
 
Prior to the WPLL, Jaffe was Athletics Marketing Coordinator at Stony Brook University as well a member of the Seawolves’ women’s lacrosse program. She collaborated with ticket staff on strategies that generated over $1 million in the 2018-19 academic year, developed and executed marketing efforts for an FCS football program that generated a record of $275,000 in revenue and served as the primary marketing contact for all 18 Division I sports, including the nationally ranked football program.
 
During her time as a member of the women’s lacrosse program at Stony Brook, Jaffe helped the Seawolves earn a top-five national ranking along with four consecutive conference titles and four NCAA appearances.
 
As an undergraduate, Jaffe received her bachelor’s degree in health sciences and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration.
