BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 22, 2015) - Trailing 61-58 more than midway through the second half, the LIU Post men's basketball team went on a 15-0 run to rally to an 84-74 victory over Concordia College in the 2015 LIU Post Thanksgiving Classic on Sunday at the Pratt Recreation Center.

Akosa Maduegbunam (Hyde Park, N.Y.) poured in eight points in the come-from-behind effort. Junior forward
Barrington Alston (Wilmington, Del.) got the run started with a dunk and added a 1-of-2 showing from the free-throw line.

Dillon Burns (Staten Island, N.Y.) used clutch foul shooting down the stretch to secure the win. Burns made 5-of-6 attempts in the final 49 seconds of regulation, while senior guard
Chris Orozco (Tenafly, N.J.) netted a pair.
For much of the contest, neither squad led by more than five points. Concordia (1-4) held a six-point cushion (46-40) less than a minute into the second half, before an 11-0 response gave LIU Post (3-1) a 51-46 advantage with 14:44 remaining.

Bryant Webb (Parlin, N.J.) drilled a go-ahead three-pointer in the spurt. Alston added back-to-back baskets. Junior guard

Maduegbunam paced the Pioneers with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Junior forward
Greg Dotson (Abington, Pa.) nearly had a triple-double, totaling 13 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks. Senior guard
Dillon Burns (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored 12 points and swiped five steals off the bench. Hall recorded 11 points, five rebounds and three assists. Alston collected nine points and six rebounds.
McMillan accumulated eight assists, seven points and six rebounds. Webb pitched in eight points and four boards. Orozco and sophomore forward
Hunter Powell (Tustin, Mich.) racked up four points and two rebounds apiece.
