Volleyball at Molloy - 6 p.m.
The LIU Post volleyball team rounds out the road portion of its 2014 schedule Thursday, when it faces Molloy in an East Coast Conference showdown at 6 p.m. in Rockville Centre, N.Y.

Both the Pioneers (13-11, 8-4 ECC) and Lions (10-12, 5-6 ECC) are coming off a loss in their last match. On Tuesday, LIU Post suffered a 3-1 loss to Dowling, while Molloy was blanked by Bridgeport, 3-0.

In their first meeting of 2014 on Sept. 25, the green and gold were victorious by a 3-0 score. Sophomore middle/right-side hitter Analise Austin (Honolulu, Hawaii) and freshman middle blocker/outside hitter Danielle Valenza (Hauppauge, N.Y.) had a match-high nine kills apiece in the win. Austin also led all players with 11 digs.

Senior setter Lulu Centro (Rome, Italy) and junior setter Monica Amador (Cedar Park, Texas), who added seven kills as well, each dished out 14 assists. Junior libero Rachel Ringor (Honolulu, Hawaii) amassed 10 digs.

For Molloy, sophomore setter Ally De Kruyf (Norwalk, Calif.) allocated 16 assists in the contest, while registering six digs, three service aces and a pair of kills.
