Women's Tennis vs. Adelphi - 3:30 p.m.

The LIU Post women's tennis team (4-1, 4-1 ECC) is set to host Adelphi in its final home match of 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.
The squad has been led by juniors Didi Fatchikova (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Lucie Chrastecka (Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic), who own an undefeated slate through their first five matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
In doubles, Fatchikova and Chrastecka pair up at the No. 1 flight, sporting an unblemished 5-0 mark.
Freshman Meagan Byrne (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named the ECC Rookie of the Week on Monday after her first collegiate victory against Dowling on Sept. 19. She went on to secure her second the next day versus St. Thomas Aquinas.
Field Hockey at East Stroudsburg - 4 p.m.
The seventh-ranked LIU Post field hockey team (2-1) heads to East Stroudsburg, Pa. to take on No. 5 East Stroudsburg in a non-conference match-up.
In just three games, the Pioneers have outscored their opposition, 15-3, and outshot them as well, 83-7. Their offensive attack has been spearheaded by junior forward Keliann Margiotta (Sewell, N.J.), who boasts eight goals and two assists for an 18-point output.
Women's Soccer at Molloy - 6 p.m.
The LIU Post women's soccer team takes to the road tonight at 6 p.m. to take on East Coast Conference foe Molloy in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
The Pioneers (4-1, 1-0 ECC) are looking to extend their four-game winning streak after an impressive 6-1 drubbing of St. Thomas Aquinas last Saturday. Junior forward Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway), the reigning East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, has scored four goals in her last two games, including three tallies against the Spartans.
Volleyball vs. Dowling - 7 p.m.
The LIU Post volleyball team continues its five-match homestand, as it faces East Coast Conference rival Dowling at the Pratt Recreation Center at 7 p.m.
The Pioneers are currently 6-6 overall and 1-2 in East Coast Conference action. Meanwhile, the Golden Lions sport a 7-5 mark, with a 2-1 clip versus league opposition.
Freshman middle blocker Danielle Valenza (Hauppauge, N.Y.) is off to a strong start in her rookie campaign. She leads the team with 134 kills, and ranks second in digs with 119. Of the 12 matches she has appeared in so far, Valenza has registered an impressive five double-doubles.
In the setting department, senior
Lulu Centro (Rome, Italy) is averaging 6.98 assists per set (300 total assists) this year. Additionally, her .279 attack percentage is tops amongst the green and gold's leading hitters.
