CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 20, 2015) - On Tuesday, LIU Post women's soccer junior goalkeeper Felicia Orderud (Gothenburg, Sweden) and freshman forward Andrea Huntzinger (Stockholm, Sweden) were named the East Coast Conference Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Orderud made all three starts last week, as the Pioneers went 3-0. She made three saves in a 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire University last Monday (Oct. 12). Orderud then followed with back-to-back shutouts (one save in each game) against Philadelphia University (Oct. 15) and Mercy College (Oct. 17).

Huntzinger claims her second ECC Rookie of the Week honor after scoring three goals last week. Two of her three markers were game-winners. She recorded both goals in a 2-1 victory against SNHU, and netted the game's lone tally in a 1-0 ECC triumph versus Mercy.

Orderud, Huntzinger and the Pioneers are back in action on Friday (Oct. 23), when they host Roberts Wesleyan College in an ECC battle in Brookville. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m.
