CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 26, 2015) - After recording seven points in two games last week, LIU Post women's soccer senior forward
Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
This marks the second time in 2015 that Vistnes has won the award. She last earned the honor on Oct. 5.
Vistnes tallied both clinching goals in a pair of victories for the Pioneers. She netted the double-overtime game-winner in a 2-1 triumph over Roberts Wesleyan College on Friday (Oct. 23), and had the deciding goal in a 3-0 shutout of Daemen College on Sunday (Oct. 25).
Vistnes is currently tied with University of Bridgeport's Jess Laszlo for the league lead with 16 goals and tops the ECC with 39 points.
Vistnes and the Pioneers return to the pitch on Wednesday (Oct. 28), when they host Molloy College in their 2015 home finale at Pioneer Soccer Park at 2:30 p.m.
