CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 3, 2015) - On Monday, LIU Post women's soccer freshman forward Andrea Huntzinger (Stockholm, Sweden) was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Huntzinger played a key role in the Pioneers' two wins last week, as she tallied seven total points off three goals and an assist.

The freshman netted her first career hat trick in a 5-0 win over Molloy College on Thursday (Oct. 29) and added an assist in Saturday's (Oct. 31) 3-0 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas College.

On the season, Huntzinger has collected eight goals and four assists for a 20-point output and twice earned ECC Rookie of the Week praise.

Huntzinger and the Pioneers are back in action on Thursday (Nov. 5), when they take on Roberts Wesleyan College in an ECC Championship semifinal match in Rochester. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
