BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jun. 5, 2015) - The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics recently announced its final set of standings for the 2014-15 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, and LIU Post finished the year at No. 19.
The Pioneers compiled a total of 506 points in the ledger. They posted the second-highest output (319) of any Division II program in the fall, before tallying 112 points in the winter season. After wrapping up the spring season, the Pioneers accumulated 75 points for finishes in men's lacrosse and softball.
LIU Post remained the top point-getter in the East Region, with the next highest school, Stonehill (452), finishing 30th overall.
Grand Valley State continued its ride atop the standings with 965 points, more than 200 points ahead of second-place Ashland (720). Central Missouri (713), Lewis (647.75) and Minnesota State Mankato (617.50) rounded out the Top-5.
