BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jul. 27, 2015) - On Monday, Head Coach
Raenee Savin announced the date for this year's preseason field hockey tournament that will take place at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Teams will play 7 v 7 and/or 11 v 11 matches (based on registration). In addition, 2016 and 2017 high school graduates can tour the campus and participate in a roundtable with LIU Post coaches and student-athletes.
The tournament will also feature a clinic for high school athletes looking to increase skill level and be seen by top coaches.
The Pioneers are coming off their second-straight NCAA Division II National Championship appearance and open the 2015 campaign at home against Bentley on Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m.
