CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jul. 29, 2015) - With 169 selections, the LIU Post Department of Athletics led the East Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, released Wednesday, for the fourth time in as many years in 2014-15.
To be eligible for the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have posted a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average or better. Bridgeport finished second behind LIU Post with 129 honorees, while Molloy was a close third at 122.
In addition, the number of Commissioner's Honor Roll selections at the ECC's 11 member institutions and three associate members increased for the seventh-consecutive year. A total of 1,125 student-athletes were recognized, a jump of 23 recipients from the prior academic year (1,102 in 2013-14).

Dr. Robert Dranoff. "Their efforts in the classroom, along with all of the contributions they make to their campus community in terms of service and athletics, will prepare all of these individuals well for life after college."
