CHANDLER, Ariz. (Sept. 22, 2015) - On Tuesday, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association released its weekly Division II Top-25 Poll, and LIU Post was listed eighth on the ledger.

After starting the week with a tough 2-1 double-overtime loss at Pace University, the Pioneers rebounded with a 2-0 win over Merrimack College in their 2015 Northeast-10 Conference opener.

West Chester University remained the top-ranked team in the poll wth 176 total points (16 first-place votes), while Millersville University (151 total points, one first-place vote), Shippensburg University, East Stroudsburg University and Kutztown University rounded out the Top-5.

Head Coach Raenee Savin and the Pioneers are back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 23), when they take on Assumption College in an NE-10 battle at 4 p.m. in Worcester, Mass.
