CHANDLER, Ariz. (Oct. 26, 2016) - For the third time this year, LIU Post field hockey sophomore forward/midfielder
Emily Miller (Bridgewater, N.J.) has been selected as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Offensive Player of the Week, the organization announced Wednesday.
Miller had a three-goal performance last Wednesday (Oct. 19) in the Pioneers' 3-1 victory at Pace. It was her second hat trick and third multi-goal game of 2016.
Miller is currently tied for the Northeast-10 Conference lead in game-winning goals (6), and places second in the league in goals (15) and points (34). Additionally, she ranks third in Division II in goals per game (1.0) and fourth in points per game (2.27).
Miller and her LIU Post side wrap up the 2016 regular season Friday (Oct. 28), when they host Franklin Pierce University in a Northeast-10 Conference showdown at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 2 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.
