BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 26, 2016) - The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics recently announced its initial Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings for the 2016-17 season, and LIU Post placed 17th in the tally.

The green and gold earned 90 points, after the Pioneers' field hockey team advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game for the third time in the last four years.

In addition, LIU Post led all East Coast Conference institutions in the rankings and placed second amongst East Region squads (Stonehill - No. 11).
