DANBURY, Conn. (Nov. 29, 2016) - On Tuesday, LIU Post field hockey sophomore forward/midfielder Emily Miller (Bridgewater, N.J.) was recognized to the 2016 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II All-Star First Team.

Miller, an All-Northeast-10 Conference first-team selection in 2016, ranked second in the league in goals (21) and points (47). She also placed fourth amongst the nation's leaders in goals per game (1.05) and points per game (2.35).

In addition, Miller tallied a point in 18 of the team's 20 games this season. That streak included a pair of hat tricks and a conference-best 10 game-winning goals, including the overtime clincher in the NE-10 title game at Saint Anselm.

Miller and the Pioneers wrapped up the 2016 campaign at 16-4 overall. Along the way, the green and gold won the NE-10 Championship and reached the NCAA Division II National Championship game for the third time in four years.
