The Pioneers, who also remained at No. 5 in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine rankings, are currently riding a six-game winning streak, after last week's double-digit victories over Molloy College (16-6) and Holy Family University (18-6).

Senior attacker Emily Delaney (Long Valley, N.J.) exploded for 16 points (7 G, 9 A) in the two games, including a career-best 11-point effort (4 G, 7 A) at Holy Family. Junior attackers Stefani Vagelatos (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and Connor Bird (Syosset, N.Y.) scored six goals apiece. Vagelatos also allocated three assists for a nine-point week, while Bird dished out two helpers for eight points.

Senior defender/midfielder Honey Roche (Centerport, N.Y.) tallied six points (5 G, 1 A) and won a team-high 11 draw controls. Between the pipes, sophomore goalie Olivia Kirk (Farmingdale, N.Y.) boasted a 2-0 mark with a 5.98 goals-against average and a .500 save percentage. She had 11 stops to her credit in the two contests, as well.

Head Coach Meghan McNamara and her LIU Post squad return to action Saturday (Apr. 2) in a non-conference showdown with top-ranked Adelphi University at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville. The opening draw is set for 1 p.m.
