BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 18, 2016) - The LIU Post women's lacrosse team has moved to No. 5 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Monday afternoon.

The Pioneers, who went 1-1 last week, also slid to eighth in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Top-15 rankings.

Senior attacker Emily Delaney (Long Valley, N.J.) had a team-high six points (3 G, 3 A) in the two contests. Junior attacker Stefani Vagelatos (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) recorded three goals and an assist for four points.

Sophomore goalie Olivia Kirk (Farmingdale, N.Y.) made a combined 16 saves, including a game-high eight-save performance in a 9-5 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday (Apr. 16).

LIU Post returns to action Thursday (Apr. 21), when it travels to Manchester, N.H. for a 3 p.m. non-conference date at Saint Anselm College.
